The Brief

The Brief

Description

A payments infrastructure company selling to enterprise finance teams. The product was mature, the positioning wasn’t. Every page read like an internal deck that got exported to the web. Trust had to be earned in the first six seconds, not the sixth scroll.

Challenge

Enterprise buyers landed, skimmed, and left before reaching pricing or proof. The copy led with technical architecture instead of outcomes finance teams actually cared about. Case studies existed but were buried three clicks deep. Nothing on the page answered “why should I trust this with my payment flow.”

Solution

Stripped every page down to one claim per scroll, backed by one proof point. Moved case study metrics above the fold instead of hiding them in a footer link. Rebuilt the CTA hierarchy around a single path — book a call — and removed every competing action. Language shifted from “infrastructure” to “what changes for your finance team.”

Result

Demo requests increased 34% within the first month post-launch. Average session time doubled as buyers actually read the proof instead of bouncing. Sales team reported fewer “what does this actually do” calls — the site was doing that job now.
